We are proud to announce that the 60km ultra distance is a UTMB Index race! This means that runners who successfully complete the ultra distance this year will achieve (or add to) their UTMB Index in the 50km division. This can grant you priority registration for select UTMB World Series events, and is required to register for the UTMB Finals in Chamonix. Note that this index is not a "qualifying race" (per the old system) nor do we grant the finisher any Running Stones. Gaining a 50km index here will be valid for 2 years which is necessary for a race such as OCC.
