Why not support an incredible cause while creating unforgettable memories with family and friends? That’s why I’ve proudly become a Burn Survivor Champion and am fundraising for the Steps4Survivors 5K Run/Walk.

Did you know?

• Each year in the U.S., 1.1 million burn injuries require medical attention (American Burn Association, 2002).

• Approximately 50,000 of these injuries lead to hospitalization.

• 20,000 of these cases involve major burns, covering at least 25% of the body, and sadly, around 4,500 people lose their lives.

Since Scars Uncovered was founded, they've been a lifeline for thousands of burn survivors and their families. They provide vital support, including financial assistance for burn garments, help with burial expenses, transportation to medical appointments, care packages, lodging assistance, food, support burn camps, and more.
