Why not support an incredible mission while making some forever memories with family and friends? This is our team has decided to become Burn Survivor Champions and fundraise for the Scars Uncovered Charity Run. 

Did you know?

• Each year in the United States, 1.1 million burn injuries require medical attention (American Burn Association, 2002).

• Approximately 50,000 of these require hospitalization

• 20,000 have major burns involving at least 25 percent of their total body surface, and approximately 4,500 of these people die.

Since Scars Uncovered was founded, they have supported over 1,700 burn survivors and their families.  Scars Uncovered has done this in a number of ways: providing financial assistance for burn survivors to purchase burn garments and assistance with burial expenses, assisting with transportation to medical appointments, providing care packages, arranging for lodging assistance and food, supporting burn camps, and more.
