Every day, an estimated 65,000 Illinois residents wake up with lupus. That staggering number is small compared with the many thousands more watching someone they care for struggle with this often devastating disease.
Not knowing where to turn for reliable information can make life that much more difficult.
That’s why the Lupus Society of Illinois exists – to support the lupus community when it needs it the most.
Providing that support means continuing our Lupus Navigator Program, which provides personalized assistance to the lupus community at no cost whatsoever.
That means educating populations who know little about lupus, yet remain high-risk for developing the disease.
That means hosting educational seminars about managing the disease to ensure lupus patients a higher quality of life.
That means working toward a cure by funding research through our national partners.
That means being ready to help when someone needs it.
