Hi, I'm Emma and I am excited to be participating in the Lahey Cancer Institute Walk. I hope you will support me today in my fundraising efforts!
This event is deeply meaningful to me because cancer has touched my family and many others. Aunts, uncles, and grandparents have overcome or died from battles with cancer. In 2019, my mom was diagnosed with a rare cancer: Waldenstrom's Lymphoma. If it were not for the excellent care that she received, and an early diagnosis, she would not have had the positive treatment experience that led to her remission.
This event helps support critical services at the Lahey Cancer Institute that help patients and their families receive holistic, comprehensive care as they navigate the difficult journey of cancer treatment.
