Founded in the Aube region of Champagne, France in 1788 by the Cheurlin family, the family’s winemaking goes back 9 generations.   They own and manage over 200 acres of land growing and using three grape varietals: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Blanc.

Isiah Thomas purchased the rights to the grapes and brand in 2016, becoming the largest African American importer of champagne in the world!  Many other celebrities simply endorse beverage products, but Isiah wanted to become an owner, and bring a high quality, low-sugar, family-owned champagne to the U.S., Canada and other countries.  And, in 2018 and 2019, Cheurlin was one of the fastest growing champagnes in the U.S.

Cheurlin’s distinct features include containing 50% less sugar than other champagnes, as well as two high-end champagnes containing zero sugar.  Just as important, all Cheurlin champagnes use the first press of the grape.   All grapes are family grown and not outsourced.

“Champagne Producer of the Year” for 2017 and 2018, and all Cheurlin varietals have received Double Gold or Gold Medals along with 90+ ratings.)
