I’m participating in the Stray Cat Relief Stray Cat Scurry 5K Walkathon. Please help me reach my goal to show support for a great organization.
I got involved with SCRF as a foster during the peak of COVID. When the adopter center (“The Scratching Post”) opened in late 2021, I started weekly Sunday night cleaning/playing shifts. To this day, Sunday nights are my shift! Since I first started volunteering with SCRF, my friends and family have adopted some of my favorites from the rescue (shoutout to Jenny, Lenny, Claire (now Momo), and Marla (now Pookie). Emily and I adopted Gidget (now Georgia). My foster cat, Donnie, was adopted to the most loving home. My parents have become addicted to all things SCRF, but particularly BINGO.
SCRF is a fantastic organization whose members care so deeply. I am forever grateful to have crossed paths with this awesome rescue (thanks Amy!!!). All proceeds will go toward the medical care and supplies for the cats currently in the rescue and allows them to continue their mission of helping the cats who need it the most. Stray Cat Relief is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing medical care to urgently sick stray cats in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area. Our focus is finding homes for stray cats who’ve been abandoned and giving them a new chance at a loving home.
