Hi friends and family,
I’m thrilled to share that I’m training for my first-ever marathon! It’s a big challenge, but I’m ready to lace up my running shoes and hit the pavement for the Orange County Marathon. My primary goal is to cross the finish line, but I’ve also set a stretch goal: completing the race faster than 3:20 (a 7 min 38 second per mile pace)—and maybe even working toward qualifying for the Boston Marathon someday!
I’m running to support StandUp for Kids, an incredible organization making a difference in the Orange County community. They are working to end the cycle of youth homelessness by providing basic needs, housing, mentoring support, care, and love to at-risk and homeless youth ages 12-24.
I’m so grateful for your encouragement and support as I embark on this journey. Whether it’s a donation to StandUp for Kids, or a word of motivation, every bit helps me stay inspired to give my all on race day. Let’s make a difference together!
