United For A Cure

Why I Am participating in the United for the Cure event for the American Cancer Society:

When my mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer a year ago, I was staggered by the statistics– The American Cancer Society estimates that in 2022, about 19,880 women will receive a new diagnosis of ovarian cancer. About 12,810 women will die from ovarian cancer. My mom has a great team of doctors helping her through her journey, but there is still so much to learn about this disease. All of our lives have been touched by cancer in some way– that’s why I’m going to participate in the United for a Cure walk that is happening in Lake Butler on September 24th. Funds raised help support cancer patient programs and groundbreaking research that can help save lives. Will you join me? And if you can't would you be so kind as to make a donation?
