The Armstrong House is dedicated to guiding and supporting youth ages 14-21 by connecting them with resources and adult advocates. Using the John H. Chafee Foster Care Program for Successful Transition to Adulthood Model, we serve all youth in need, regardless of child welfare involvement. Our advocates will provide additional support to LINKS-eligible youth with foster care experience, fostering a safe peer community for all. Our goal is to educate and empower young people on their rights and responsibilities, helping them access available resources and build essential life skills for adulthood. Through this support, The Armstrong House envisions breaking cycles of child welfare involvement and generational trauma, creating a stronger future for each youth we serve.
