Our goal is to expand the impact we are making serving local Sturbridge area veterans in need. Through the Champeau-Vilandre American Legion Post 109 fundraising efforts, we have helped Veterans that have lacked air conditioning during heat waves, housing for senior Veterans that had an emergency come up and were either homeless or in need of a temporary relief in addition to a host of other services to help those in need.
The Champeau-Vilandre American Legion Post 109 is located at 507 Main Street in Sturbridge MA, and works regularly to connect with Veterans of all ages. Our camaraderie extends through the generations, and extends to community events like the Sturbridge MA Memorial Day parade and sponsoship of the local Scouts.
