For over 35 years, tens of thousands of volunteers, donors and supporters have advanced the Make-A-Wish® vision to grant the wish of every child diagnosed with a critical illness. In the United States and its territories, on average, a wish is granted every 34 minutes. We believe a wish experience can be a game-changer. This one belief guides us and inspires us to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids we serve. Make-A-Wish San Diego grants life-changing wishes for children in San Diego and Imperial Counties.

Annually, the Kaiser Permanente Thrive Half Marathon, 5K and Wish Walk commits a portion of the race proceeds to Make-A-Wish San Diego. Annually we raise at least $10,000 (The average cost to grant one wish) for Make-A-Wish San Diego! Let’s give back to the community by giving back to the kids!
