Family and friends of Nixon Palte are participating in the Nationwide Children’s Half and Full Marathons on October 18th, 2026, to raise money in the fight against childhood cancer.
Throughout his battle with brain cancer, Nixon and his family spent countless days and nights at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. The doctors, nurses, and staff provided not only exceptional medical care, but also compassion, hope, and support during some of the most difficult moments a family can face. We are raising money to help ensure that one day no child has to endure what Nixon did.
Nixon passed away in April 2026 at just 5 years old, but his legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the inspiration he continues to provide. By supporting this fundraiser, you are honoring Nixon and helping Nationwide Children’s Hospital continue its mission of delivering life‑saving research, innovative treatments, and compassionate care for children and families facing similar battles.
