Please join me in supporting the Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad (PFARS) on Sunday, October 6th as we seek to raise funds and awareness of the critical importance PFARS to the greater Princeton community.
Why PFARS? The Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any government, hospital, or medical agency. PFARS depends on the support of individuals, foundations, and corporations to fulfill its mission to save lives, relieve the suffering of the sick and injured, and promote safety.
Some examples of what your generous contributions support are:
- Volunteer Recruitment – 78% of our EMTs are volunteers
- Training for EMTs and Rescue Technicians – Members must be prepared for any emergency situation that occurs. Training is vital to keep members up to date on the latest techniques and procedures.
- Equipment – Technology is ever changing and it is important to have up-to-date equipment to keep our members and the patients they serve safe. It is also important to be able to communicate with neighboring town and state agencies on scene.
- Medical Supplies – The Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad responded to over 3,000 calls in 2023. Every time an ambulance or emergency vehicle is dispatched any medical supplies that were used need to be replaced.
Please JOIN ME at the Run for Rescue on October 6th! Run or walk if you can. Donate if you can. But please get involved - PFARS needs your support!
