Teal there is a Cure.....
After my wife Anne Durward passed away in May 2023, I was made aware of the Norma Livingston Ovarian Cancer Foundation by a friend. When i went to the website and read the description, "[Norma] went to her internist complaining of weight gain, abdominal discomfort, and a chronic cough." When I read that I gasped out loud. These were the exact symptons Anne had. She did not get her ovarian cancer diagnosis until it was too late.
I am honoring Anne's memory by supporting the Norma Livingston Ovarian Cancer Foundation which is committed to improving the survival rate and quality of life for women with ovarian cancer by raising awareness and promoting education about ovarian cancer. It also raises money through various events that help fund local research research through the Division of Gynecology Oncology at UAB. .
