Shood (Shoes for Good) is a Richmond-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Since 2017, Shood has distributed over 25,000 pairs of shoes locally to those in need. Shood's mission is to provide new or like-new well-fitted running shoes to economically disadvantaged communities and deliver them with dignity. Year round, Shood sizes and fits guests at soup kitchens, recovery programs and food pantries throughout Richmond. Shood also supplies local Title 1 high schools and middle school running programs with running shoes and track spikes.
