Fostering Acadia provides independent living services to youth ages 17-21 who have transitioned out of foster care in Virginia. Youth receive a personalized, one-bedroom apartment and are connected with a caseworker who assists with life skill development and support with reaching their goals towards independence. Our mission is to foster a community where the young adults are known, chosen, and equipped to thrive.
