I have been in the veterinary field for around 10 years now and officially licensed as a technician for 6 years. I currently works as an Emergency & Critical Care nurse but educating the public and fellow veterinary medicine professionals about mental health holds a special place in my heart. After experiencing people close to me consider suicide, and experiencing my own mental health issues with burnout in the field, I joined my local NOMV New England chapter so I could help myself and those around me. I currently am the Co-president of this local chapter and am so excited to be apart of it and take part in Race Around The World to help propel Not One More Vet's mission forward!
NOMV’s Race Around the World started out as a fundraiser, but has evolved into something far greater. The global, annual event has become an important outreach and awareness program for NOMV. Its goal is to involve, engage, and energize a movement to elevate wellness in veterinary medicine.
