Once again, I'm participating in the Ele Earth Walk for Wildlife SOS -- a non-profit that rescues and rehabilitates wildlife in India -- to raise donations for their Elephant Rescue and Care Fund. These funds will be used to rescue abused and neglected elephants in India and move them to the Wildlife SOS Elephant Conservation and Care Centre in Agra, India where they receive the love and care they deserve.
Many of these elephants are elderly, blind, and suffer from severe wounds as a result of abuse and malnutrition. Nearly all of them are working elephants, forced to earn money for their owners through offering tourist rides or begging on the streets. The unnatural living conditions of walking on hot pavement result in persistent and painful injuries to their footpads, which need years of care to fully heal.
Your donations will provide healing gifts like a medicated foot bath or delicious, nutritious food. It will make a huge difference toward the work Wildlife SOS does to rehabilitate and care for these amazing creatures.
Thanks in advance for your support
