We are a team of physicians from the Allegheny County Medical Society participating in the Pittsburgh Cure Sarcoma Run and Walk in support of focused cancer research and patient-centered advocacy.
Sarcoma represents a complex group of malignancies that require coordinated subspecialty care and continued clinical investigation. Advancing care in this space depends on both scientific rigor and sustained community engagement.
Our participation is inspired by Dr. Mark A. Goodman, retired orthopedic surgeon, longtime ACMS member, and Chair of the Pittsburgh Cure Sarcoma Board of Directors. His leadership and commitment to this mission continue to guide our involvement.
