At the end of 2020 my wife, Stephanie Krick, was diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma. She beat the odds in so many ways from continuing to run races finishing with times that many of us set as long term goals, to being a wonderful wife, and mother, to facing every part of her journey with unwavering optimism.
She touched so many lives. Me and our son Franco of course, but hundreds of friends and thousands of patients from her years as a physician assistant. She inspired so many people to try new things. I hear from a lot of people who cite her as their inspiration for taking an adventurous trip or signing up to run a race or just to learn something new about the world. Her legacy lives on in all of us.
Please consider coming out to run or walk for a cause that was so important to her and continues to be for those she left behind.
