On Oct. 3rd I will be participating in the Sister2Sister in support of my dear sister Patience that was diagnosed was breast cancer. Since her diagnosis she has truly been inspiring and staying strong. I was going to say I don’t know how… but I do know how.. God is good!
Let’s support her and other black women by raising funds for cancer research. If you didn’t know, African American women have a 40% breast cancer mortality rate – the highest of any U.S. racial or ethnic group. ANDDDDD The mortality rate for Black women diagnosed with breast cancer is 42% higher than the comparable rate for White women.
