Abha Seva Sadan (Composite Charitable Hospital) Renovation Project (Location: Purulia, West Bengal)
This hospital, established in 1963, serves over 100,000 residents from 85 villages in Purulia district, West Bengal, India. Situated in one of the region's most impoverished and underdeveloped areas, it caters primarily to tribal communities facing challenges such as limited education, prevalent chronic diseases, and widespread malnutrition. Abha Seva Sadan hospital plays a crucial role as the primary medical facility for villagers, providing essential healthcare services in an area where the nearest hospital is more than 25 kilometers away.
The hospital urgently requires funds for:
- Renovation of the Operation Theater
- Acquisition of medical equipment for performing cataract and other minor surgeries
- Purchase of medicines
- Completion of the renovation of the hospital building
