PROJECT DETAILS: Education & Rehabilitation of 25 Blind / disabled teen age orphan girls from interior Villages of Karnataka state for the period of 1 year
The project has targeted beneficiaries of 25 blind/disabled teenage girls. Prerana is confident that at least 23 candidates will be succeeded by this training and they can lead independent living. Prerana is planning to give another opportunity for the unsuccessful candidates in the next phase.
A. CAPITAL COST
- Since, Prerana is having its own infrastructure and necessary requirement, Prerana does not require any Capital cost.
B. RECURRING EXPENSES
- o Training Expenses = Rs. 1,92,000 per annum
- o Conveyance expenses = Rs. 60,000 per annum

C. ADMINISTRATIVE EXPENSES
- o Post & stationary Honorary for staff = Rs. 24,000 per annum
- o Braille Teacher = Rs. 96,000 per annum
- o Chief placement officer = Rs. 96,000 per annum
- o Mobility Instructor = Rs. 72,000 per annum
- o TOTAL C = Rs. 2,88,000

PROJECT DETAILS: SSISM is dedicated to empowering rural girl students and enhancing educational infrastructure in the rural community. We are reaching out to seek your support for an important initiatives: providing scholarships for 15 needy rural female students to pursue undergraduate courses at SSISM Institute.
- One year College Tuition Fees of Rs. 35,000/- each for 15 Needy Rural and tribal Girls Students for three years = Rs. 5,25,000
- One-time Laptop for 15 Girls of Rs. 50,000/- (as per given specification) = Rs. 7,50,000 Laptop Configuration: Processor: Intel i5 or i3 (12th Generation and Above 13th Generation), Minimum RAM: 8GB and Above 16gb Minimum SSD: 512GB and above 1TB
- Total = Rs. 5,25,000 + Rs. 7,50,000 = Rs. 12,75,000 =~ $15,400 USD
SSISM has started the Nivedita and Vivekananda Scholarship Program, aimed at supporting financially disadvantaged rural students to pursue undergraduate courses like BCA and BBA. Currently, 100 students are benefiting from this scholarship scheme. However, to sustain and expand this program, we require financial assistance.
