Lookin For A Cure Miami

Please help my team, The OMIE Brigade, raise funds for more research to find a cure for ocular melanoma. 

On August 19, 2009, my entire world was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with choroidal melanoma, a rare type of malignant cancer of the eye. Only about 5 people per one million in the population are diagnosed annually. A tumor? In my eye? I had never heard of such a thing. Just a couple weeks later, I was underwent ocular bracytherapy (Google it). I was terrified. I knew nothing about this aggressive cancer that could potentially spread to other parts of my body. There is no cure for this cancer and being so rare, research is limited. Since then, I've tried to educate everyone I meet. I wouldn't wish cancer of any type on anyone, but since my diagnosis, and now 50% blind, I literally see life very differently.
