In March 2025 I was diagnosed with breast cancer after a "clear" mammogram at the end of June 2024. The following month, in April 2025, I found out that my cancer was stage IV inflammatory breast cancer; a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer.
Breast cancer is a life-changing diagnosis. Not only does it affect the person who was diagnosed physically, mentally and emotionally, but it also affects that person's family and friends.
