I was incredibly blessed to call Victoria Ondo-Burnfin a good friend. Vic and I met during orientation for our graduate program at University of Pittsburgh, becoming fast friends. She had such a giving, generous, selfless, and giving heart, I know she would have made an amazing child life specialist. I was and continue to be amazed by her perseverance, bravery, resiliency, positivity, and determination in her battle against cancer. She let nothing ever stop her. Vic loved her time with Connecting Champions and truly embodied all the goodness of Connecting Champions and lived the message of having a life not defined by an illness. Vic would love to know her impact continues, even 6 years gone too soon.
