Building Families. Building Communities. Building Friendships.

Building Humanity connects professionals with communities in need to provide architectural and engineering services and organizes volunteer build events for individuals and companies. Help us to build stronger families, more involved communities and stronger friendships through donating or by joining a volunteer build trip.

In 2024, Building Humanity is partnering on 2 different projects. We are providing project management and professional services in the design of a community and resiliency center for the Grand Caillou Dulac tribal peoples in Houma, Louisiana. After losing their communal spaces in Hurricane Ida in 2021, this new project will help provide a center for a threatened community to pass on traditions and cultural practices, as well as a space to aide the community in rebuilding their homes and infrastructure after the next hurricane or local disaster.

From July 11-25, Building Humanity will be leading a group of volunteers to build a home for a family at the Eternal Family Orphanage in Tabora, Tanzania. This home will be provide a space for up to 15 children who have been orphaned due to HIV/AIDS or COVID to live with their new forever family. They will be supported in this family for the rest of their lives, not just until their turn 18.

Making change starts with you. You make the world a better place, one act at a time.
