Police Officer Mitchell Georgiana texted his mother, Donna, to ask if she had any extra blankets he could have to keep in his patrol car and hand out to anyone in need. Two days later, Officer Georgiana died by suicide. Donna Georgiana has continued to honor her son's wishes through Gotcha Covered Blankets, a non-profit.
