Outrun Cancer 5k & 1.5 Mile Walk by Peitz Cancer Support House

Barely a year ago, I had a routine mammogram (that I almost canceled) and was diagnosed with breast cancer. Ductal Carcinoma in Situ, to be exact. 
I am fortunate. My cancer was stage zero. A lumpectomy, 20 radiation treatments, and a preventive medication every day for 5 years. I have an amazing support system.  I will likely never experience another cancer diagnosis. 
Most who experience a cancer diagnosis aren’t as fortunate as I have been.
