I am taking Sweet Steps for Homeless Pets through Homeward Pet Adoption Center's Lollipop Guild!
Help me transform the lives of cats and dogs like our sweet boy, Bobby, with a donation toward my participation in the There's No Place Like Homeward Pet 5k Walk/Run!
Ten year old Bobby has been with Homeward Pet for over two years now. An stoic old man, he loves fiercely and learns new tricks voraciously. He is in foster care and doesn't necessarily know that he hasn't found his people yet, but we know that they're out there. Homeward Pet staff really doesn't understand why this gentle old man hasn't been adopted yet. While his stay has been longer than we'd like, the amount of time it takes to find her home is not an obstacle to the folks at Homeward Pet. Because of donors like myself (and hopefully you), Homeward Pet can afford to care for animals for as long as it takes to find their new homes. If you aren't in a place to be able to adopt Bobby, please join me in helping to provide for his care.
The donations you make through my fundraising page directly benefit all the cats and dogs that come through the shelter, and assist them in finding their forever homes as well as fund other life-saving programs like behavior training and compassionate medical care to get them ready for their new lives.
