Hi! My name is Maddy and I am the new Director of Development at the Siouxland Humane Society! I have always wanted to work at an animal shelter so this is my dream. I have 3 dogs, 2 of which came from the shelter! I have my new dog Ruth, a 6 month old doodle mix,(DNA test to determine this lol) who is fitting into the pack very nicely. Griffey, who is not a shelter dog, is my 2 year old doodle. Lastly is my soul dog Louie. I love all my pets, but Louie is my best friend and love of my life. He has gotten me through it all and continues to be the light of my life. I also have two crazy guinea pigs that I rescued! I hope this event raises money and beings awareness to all of the amazing things that we do at the Humane Society. We help keep families who are struggling with their pets with programs such as the pet food bank, spay/neuter assistance, and vet assistance. The Humane Society is an amazing place and we do so much for its pets and pet owners. The Humane Society rehomes 100% of the adoptable pets. We NEVER euthanize due to lack of space or time spent at the shelter. Please consider donating to this event to help us continue doing this amazing work!
