Our Story
We are two sisters, Vanessa in St. Petersburg & Ivy in Miami. It all started when Vanessa’s oldest daughter introduced the family to handmade natural soaps. They quickly noticed the benefits of the natural ingredients in them and loved using the soaps regularly. However, they soon realized that buying handmade natural soaps could get quite expensive. Determined to find a solution, Vanessa decided to research and began making soaps herself. After much trial and error, she finally found the perfect balance and started sharing them to family and friends. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, and Ivy, who fell in love with the soaps, encouraged Vanessa to share them with a wider audience.
Inspired by Vanessa's success, Ivy decided to pursue her long-time interest in candle making. After conducting extensive research and testing, she discovered a passion for it and developed her own unique process.
Despite initial doubts, frustrations, and all the paperwork involved in starting a small business, our perseverance paid off, and we proudly launched Ives and Bees in 2020.
