This event would not be possible without the help of the Florida Springs Council and The Friends of Ichetucknee Springs State Park. Please consider donating to these amazing organizations that help support and preserve the land.
The Florida Springs Council is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a mission to restore and protect Florida's springs. Nowhere else on the planet has freshwater springs in the number and concentration that Florida has. But pollution and overpumping are threatening these iconic Florida ecosystems. The Florida Springs Council brings together experts in law, policy, science, and communications from across Florida to enact the changes we need to better protect springs. They lobby in Tallahassee for better laws, coordinate legal challenges, and do whatever is necessary to protect individual springs and the underground aquifer that connects them all.
Friends of Ichetucknee Springs State Park is a Citizen Support Organization (CSO), a non-profit volunteer organization, dedicated to preserving and enhancing Ichetucknee Springs State Park. We support Ichetucknee Springs State Park by providing volunteers, educating visitors, hosting events, and raising funds for specific park projects.
