I am uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. I am passionate about this cause because I AM A SURVIVOR!!!!
In September 2012, my life changed in an instant. After seeing my physician for chronic headaches, I was sent for a CT Scan. Within minutes of completing the exam, I received the news that I not only had a 3X4cm tumor, but that he had also set me up for an MRI and surgical consult the next day! And, within a week, it was removed by the fabulous Dr. Anthony Asher!!!
I was so very fortunate that the surgery went well, BUT MY STORY DOESN'T END THERE! During my 5 year MRI follow up in 2018, another brain tumor was found. This time, 30 radiation treatments were prescribed and those were completed on 7/5/18. I am currently in the "watch and wait" phase. My last MRI showed that "Owen" is stable but I did graduate from every 12 months to 18!!
So now, more than ever, I’m taking action for those who were less fortunate. But, I need your help in this fight. Please join in my effort!
