On April 20, 2024 I’ll be running the 36-mile long Lenape Trail as part of a fundraiser hosted by Mission CleanWater. The Lenape Trail runs from Branch Brook Park in Newark to South Mountain Reservation in Millburn and connects 18 different parks and 11 townships.
Mission CleanWater is 501c3 nonprofit that provides more people access to clean drinking water globally. They have both domestic and international projects. They focus on providing portable water filters to local communities and building water filtration systems in villages in Uganda. In 2023 they were able to provide 11,000 people in Uganda with clean water while also providing clean water to 600 people daily in Newark.
