Pedal the Cause

My husband and I have dedicated our ride this year to the strength and joy of family. Cancer has the power to erode these rocks but one family chose not to let it happen. When our cousin Erica was diagnosed with breast cancer this past May, she swiftly underwent a double mastectomy without missing end of year school celebrations or volleyball games. The week of reconstructive surgery she still hosted a large weekend long family celebration. The whole family continues to choose joy, lead with love and continue the fight forward. I am continually amazed by this level of strength, faith and joy.

Pedal the Cause is more than the region's largest cancer fundraiser. It's a way of life, a celebration, a family and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer.
