Pedal the Cause

I have been riding PTC for five years. It started as a fun event for a great cause. Last year it became more personal - I was diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Cancer. I was blessed to find that it was not aggressive and very treatable. That being said it was a difficult and stressful journey that constantly reminded me of how much greater struggles some of the other patients have to go through that are not as fortunate as I was. This year I ride with a new purpose: with personal intent to end the fear of cancer for all.
