Pedal the Cause

I am riding in the Pedal the Cause bike event this year in honor of my mother, Mary Louise Walker who is on an eight-year battle with ovarian cancer and in memory of my father, the late Dar Walker who was an inspirational caregiver of my mother for many years of her battle with cancer.

Together with the IMPACT Strategies Team, we will be supporting each other in the ride on September 22nd.  

The mission of Pedal the Cause is to provide critical funding for cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital through our annual cycling challenge. It is our hope that research funded by Pedal the Cause will ultimately lead to a cure for cancer.  So far, the organization has funded 203 Cancer Research Projects with the over $45 million raised to date.

We will be riding the Metric Century Ride at 62 miles.

It takes world-class research to create a world without cancer. Please help me in this journey by donating to my ride and give with confidence knowing that 100% of your donation will go directly to accelerating cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and St. Louis Children's Hospital.
