Pedal the Cause

The first time I can remember being impacted by cancer was when my Opa lost his battle with the disease. Several years later, as a teenager, I drove my Oma to chemotherapy appointments. Since then, cancer has touched the lives of many family members and friends. I've celebrated victories with those who have overcome cancer, and I've also experienced the heartbreak of losing loved ones to this disease.

I've sat anxiously in hospital waiting rooms, prayed for loved ones facing cancer battles, participated in numerous walks, and volunteered with organizations that support children and families affected by cancer. While giving my time has always been important to me, this is the first time I've stepped up to fundraise personally.

That's why I'm proud to participate in Pedal the Cause. For me, it's more than a ride, it's a chance to be part of something that is making a real difference in the fight against cancer.
