Hello Family and Friends
It's that time again for Sister's By Choice's Annual Fundraiser to support the operation of the Mobile Breast Clinic. This full-service breast clinic travels throughout the state of Georgia to provide breast health services to uninsured, under-insured, and medically under-served women and men annually. Yes, men can get breast cancer. The mobile breast clinic is a state-of-the art facility unlike anything else in Georgia.
I have volunteered in the mobile breast clinic where I've seen women who had immediate breast concerns receive examinations by a doctor. EARLY DETECTION SAVES LIVES!!!! As a 14 year breast cancer thriver, early detection and great health insurance saved my life. I'm so grateful to God. Let's help other women share in this same testimony.
Statistically, black women are 40% more likely to die from breast cancer than any other ethnic group. You can help reduce that number by donating to support the continued operation of the mobile breast clinic.
You can join my team to participate in the walk, although I will be walking virtually this year, or donate using the link included in this email. Search for my name: Angela Ash or Butterfly Thrivers team name.
Thank you in advance for your support of this cause.
Much love,
Angie
