From a little girl who was always drawn to the water swimming has become my refuge through out all times. At 7:10 pm the Fitzgerald spoke again to the Anderson, at which time McSorley stated, “We are holding our own.” Those were the last words heard from the Fitzgerald. I consider it the greatest honor to be a part of the crew to complete the journey in their memory.
