A New Company with a Legacy Story

Revv Aviation is rooted in heritage. While we officially adopted the Revv Aviation name in 2022, our love of flight and passion for bringing aviation services to small towns is nothing new.

Revv is built on the shoulders of great men and women aviators passionate about flying. They’ve measured speed in knots and life by the wind. These extraordinary leaders are now part of the Revv family. We are united in our love of flight and how we see each person as an individual. Never a number. Everything we do comes back to impacting people through aviation. We will always see this as our single, greatest endeavor.

The Revv story involves aviation pioneers like Roy Carver Sr. and Roy Carver Jr. of Muscatine, Iowa; Dan Smith and his daughter Lisa LaMantia of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Robert Luman Sr. and his sons Bob Jr. and Mike Luman of Aurora, Ill., and Mark McKinney, also of Aurora. Nearly 250 years combined personal aviation experiences come together under Revv. Learn more about our Founding Partners.

An aviation enterprise encompasses many things. But it is the beliefs of that enterprise that matter most. Led by Inga Carus and Peter Limberger, CL Enterprises is Revv’s parent company which has championed one small town at a time in more than a dozen communities by providing good paying jobs, investing in local economic development and creating places where folks from the community can gather. The company’s motto: “small towns, big ideas.” Revv amplifies this people-first philosophy by pioneering the concept of personal aviation.

Personal aviation begins with you. We’re opening up the skies by going beyond the exclusive world of private aviation and the status quo oftentimes delivered by commercial aviation.

For pilots, personal aviation means aviation services delivered with a personal touch, extra care of their aircraft and respect for their time. For travelers, personal aviation means accessible and affordable charter services at local community airports close to home – without the stress and hassle of canceled flights and a packed aircraft. For flight students, personal aviation means we are a stakeholder in their pilot training every step of the way. For Revv team members, personal aviation means more career opportunities within our company and a family culture. For community members, it means a greater commitment to the small towns we serve.

This is aviation, from the ground up – all the aviation services you need to enjoy flight more abundantly, in the air and on the ground.

Our 3 Points of Difference

Personal aviation means tailoring aviation services to the needs, lives and dreams of real people. Here’s why we’re different.

What we do

Each of our hubs is a one-stop shop for all aviation needs. These include charter, pilot training, avionics, maintenance, fuel and line services, aircraft sales and acquisition, aircraft rental, hangar and aircraft management.

Where we operate

Our focus is on businesses and people in smaller towns across the Midwest. These towns have not had access to quality aviation services. We are bringing aviation back while creating new jobs, new opportunities, new places for people to gather and, of course, more opportunities to fly better.

How we do it

With wonder and joy. We love aviation and believe more people should have the opportunity to experience the joy and sense of wonder of flying at its best. By making the twin prop aircraft as a major component of our fleet, we expand the opportunities to fly even more.
