2025 Annual 5K Walk/Run With Hope

Dear Friends,

It will a decade since we lost our beloved Forrest IV to suicide on March 10, 2015. That day forever changed the fabric of our family, both immediate and extended. To have Hayden on May 20, 2016 also die by suicide was beyond our comprehension.

 We are again asking for your financial and emotional support.  The 18th annual WALK WITH HOPE is on March 08, 20245 The location is at the Friends Church in Yorba Linda. This is the same place as last year. We were so pleased last year to be walking/running through a designated path surrounded by beautiful scenery. There is also a company that is overseeing the 5K Walk/Run  so if you know of any running groups, please share this information with them. WITH HOPE also has a Grief Support Group.

 We are Team Werner/Blackwell. We will again have our own fundraising page. Last year Team Blackwell raised over $8,000 to add to the Team Werner total.

There will be other matching days coming up, too. This means that what you donate is matched by a company, so your donation is worth double i.e. $25 is counted as $50 on certain days.

With Hope Foundation annually provides our highly successful educational programs on  Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention to over 10,000 students, parents, teachers, staff, and community members.  Our programs are designed to educate, equip and empower individuals in recognizing the warning signs of suicide and to provide them with resources for critical lifesaving intervention. Additionally, we provide grief support through our Friends With Hope Suicide Bereavement Support Group. We provide individual counseling resources and referrals for individuals dealing with the traumatic loss of a loved one to suicide who are at an increased risk for depression, anxiety, PTSD, and suicide.
