Hi friends,
In my lifetime, most of my summers have been in and around water (Cape Cod, back yard pools, local lakes), I really didn't start to swim until I joined the Valley Shore YMCA in 2015. At that time, I met the wackiest, strongest, sweetest group of friends who helped me become a real swimmer. It's time to come full circle and give back to YMCA.
I am excited to participate in this challenging swim in the cold Maine waters! I will be sharing this adventure with my older sister Liz, and it will be extra special as July 20 is our Mom's 91st birthday! Please help us raise money for the great programming for children at the Southern Maine YMCA.
