Friends of the KCAC is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation which raises funds to provide special services, such as counseling for the hundreds of children who pass through the doors of the Kane County Child Advocacy Center (CAC) each year. The Kane County Child Advocacy Center (a division of the Kane County State's Attorney's Office) investigates and prosecutes cases where children have been sexually and physically abused.

The CAC located in downtown Geneva was founded in 1994 to coordinate the Kane County response and services for victims of child abuse: combining investigation, court intervention and healing services for victims. The goal of this combination of services is to reduce and/or eliminate continued trauma to the child victim and help get them on their journey to healing. Last year alone, the CAC investigated 424 reports alleging abuse to children in Kane County and provided services to approximately 1000 children!

Your participation and generous donations will directly support our programs that provide essential services and other support to child victims and their families. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us move closer to a world free from child abuse.

Together, we can bring hope and healing to those who need it most.

Thank you for your support!
