Hi! My name is Hayden and I will be 5 years old in September. I am racecar enthusiast who loves spending time with my parents, building Legos and playing ninjas with my older brother and running and being silly with my younger sister. I love going to church and learning how much Jesus loves me and the whole world! As many kids my age, my parents do a lot to keep me active to get all my wiggles out. I like running, biking, swimming, rock climbing, gymnastics and more. I did my first Spartan Kids race last September and will be doing another one this year on my birthday weekend. I am very excited about running my first 5K next January at Walt Disney World!
However, my parents have told me that there are many people who are not as blessed as I am to be able to participate in so many activities due to their diseases. One of our close family friends was born with a muscular disease that developed throughout his childhood which affected his ability to participate in sports and ultimately his ability to walk. I am excited to use my health and energy to use my first 5K experience to bring awareness to CRD and all the work they are doing to help others be able to be active too.
