A former station of the United States Life-Saving Service, the Chicamacomico Life Saving Station complex is now a museum. Built in 1874, the station features a gabled roof board and batten wooden structure and is a part of the Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station Historic Site. Tours of the facility are available and special events take place too, when volunteers dress up as life-savers and enact various scenes. A gift shop is also available on site for visitors to take back collectibles from their memorable experience.
