Strides 4 Children

Support us as we participate in Strides 4 Children! 

Nineteen years ago my life was changed when I met one youth running away from an abusive adoptive home and would become part of her story.  Really she came to a church and so there was more than just me who influenced her life, but that level of community meant a whole new world for a person who was chronologically an adult but emotionally barely in middle childhood.  Now that she is parenting, her child's story has been so different than her own and that is a direct result of the community she found 19 years ago.  People matter and the relationships we form with them matter.  Safe Families for Children builds community around parents who have nowhere to turn during a time of crisis and temporarily supports the care of their children.  Please help us support this work!
