Last year, our family bravely attempted the first annual CCA 5K. "Participated" might be a strong word; we mostly struggled valiantly and questioned every life choice that led us there. Turns out, our fitness level was less "race-ready" and more "couch potato in training." Despite our lungs burning and legs threatening to go on strike, we had an absolute blast soaking up the camaraderie (and trying not to trip over each other) with our amazing school community. The sheer joy of shared laughter and high-fives reminded us why CCA is the best – even if it means sacrificing a few toenails for the cause. This year, we're not just planning to finish; we're planning to finish strong, possibly without needing an oxygen tent at the end.
